A display name is a self-selected NEST® profile title _

Display names are independently chosen by relevant, controlling members / users. These set one visible NEST® ecosystem or Web3, multi-network platform-identifier in what may be a name or identifier other than its controlling member’s birth or legal name.

In essence, display names can be a fictitious moniker, nickname or alias and entirely unrelated to SSDID content and information as well as any forms of authenticated provenance tracking, verification protocols or associated registrations.
