This is also referred to as Development (Dev) and Operations (Ops). This skillset is the combination of a set of tools, people and products that are all aimed at delivering both the software and associated solutions or services derived therefrom at a faster pace. Fundamentally, the role of DevOps engineers are to enhance and cover the continuous integration of software solution optimization, so as to provide a quality product and experience to end-users. A few of the more common and powerful DevOps solutions that are used include Docker, Github, Jenkins and Slack. They all work to providing a streamlined software and solution delivery/maintenance.
