NEST® cultivates a culture that supports and fosters remote work, with its team members spread across the globe, and the technical teams predominantly based in India. Recently, Charles Anderson, NEST®’s founder and CEO, traveled to Pune, India for a week-long visit.
During his visit, Charles conducted in-person discussions to address important issues, upcoming partnerships, and product launches. The visit was also a time for Charles to motivate and inspire the entire team to strive for excellence.
Throughout the week, the NEST® team convened in a shared workspace, where Charles dedicated his time to meeting with various teams, such as developers, front-end, blockchain, UI-UX, HR management, and finance. Cross-functional teams gained a better understanding of each other’s requirements and expectations, which led to more seamless communication and better alignment of task priorities. By breaking down silos and fostering a culture of teamwork, the NEST® team was able to maximize their productivity and collaboration.
To show his appreciation for the team’s hard work and celebrate Chocolate Day, Charles surprised everyone with a thoughtful gift of assorted chocolates. This small but meaningful gesture helped to build camaraderie and demonstrated Charles’ leadership style that values employee recognition and appreciation.
Although the NEST® team was highly focused on productivity, they also made time for dinners and playing cricket. By socializing and bonding outside of work, the team strengthened their relationships and created a positive work environment.
The visit to Pune was an undeniable success, not only in terms of increased productivity and clearer communication but also in building a stronger sense of camaraderie and teamwork among the NEST® team.
